CEGE invites applicants for Resilient Infrastructure faculty position

The Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in the field of Resilient Infrastructure.

The primary appointment will be in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering (CEGE) with a joint appointment in the Department of Integrated Systems Engineering (ISE) in the College of Engineering at OSU. Areas of interest broadly include: planning,design, monitoring, assessment, performance forecasting, and decision-making aspects of infrastructure systems with a focus on resilience and the nexus of resilience and sustainability. Methodologies of interest include, but are not limited to, physics-based modeling, stochastic representations, empirical techniques including statistical inference and machine learning, simulation, and optimization. Large-scale network-based infrastructure systems at any stage of the life-cycle are of particular interest, especially energy, wastewater, water, and transportation systems.
