Faculty Search for Professor of Practice

Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering invites applications for a non‐tenure‐track Assistant Professor of Practice, Associate Professor of Practice, or Professor of Practice position in civil engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching capstone design classes, and core civil engineering undergraduate classes in the areas of construction, geotechnical engineering, hydraulics, structures, or transportation. The primary duties of the faculty position is teaching and professional practice and service. After teaching obligations are satisfied, the successful candidate may also become active in research. The teaching and service activities will be consistent with the Department policies. Appointment of regular non‐tenure‐track faculty entails a three‐, four‐ or five‐year contract.
