Civil engineering student excels in the classroom and on the ice

Sophie Jaques, a senior civil engineering student from Toronto, Canada, works hard. She maintains a 3.7 GPA, and serves in a leadership role in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering's Campus Transit Lab. Sophie also happens to be Ohio State Women's Ice Hockey's all-time record holder for points scored by a defenseman and a finalist for the Kazmaier Memorial Award, which recognizes the nation's top Division I women's player.
