The sound of debris landing in a dumpster echoes throughout the alleyway behind Bolz and Hitchcock Halls, shattering the relative silence of spring break on campus. Inside Bolz Hall, construction crews continue the demolition and remediation phase of a project that promises to transform the CEGE student experience. Set to debut in August 2020, the Kokosing Design Studio will serves as a 24/7 hub for the CEGE community.

Design renderings depict a dynamic and modern space that features:

- Professional design space for capstone courses

- More than 100 computer stations with state-of-the-art software and modern design tools

- Collaboration space for student projects

- Flexible meeting space for department and college activities and visits with industry leaders and partners

- Dedicated graduate student office and conference spaces

- Student lounge
