Best foot forward

Tyler Durbin, CEGE student and starting placekicker for the Buckeye football team, was named to the Academic All-District 5 team on November 3, 2016.

Durbin, a transfer from James Madison, where he played soccer, is majoring in civil engineering. He walked on to the football team last year, won the kicking job this year and is currently leading the Big Ten Conference in both scoring and kick scoring. 

Student-athletes nominated for Academic All-America honors must be at least a sophomore in eligibility and have at least a 3.30 grade point average.
