Charles Toth honored for contributions to photogrammetry and remote sensing

Charles K. Toth, Research Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering, is the recipient of The International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Schwidefsky Medal. This award, states the XXII ISPRS Congress's Official Proceedings, recognizes Dr. Toth's "contributions to the field of photogrammetric theory and practice in the last three decades".

Professor Toth, who currently serves as President of the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, is further described by the ISPRS as "a highly respected member of the international mapping community" who is "very devoted to educating and mentoring the next generation of photogrammetic professionals".
