On Monday, April 25, 2016, OSU environmental engineering students presented a design and construction proposal for ozone dosing and BAC filtration upgrades at the City of Columbus Dublin Road Water Treatment facility. The proposal, a culmination of Capstone class activities, was presented to an audience of engineers, consultants and other capstone students and took place at the City of Columbus Public Utilities offices.

All environmental engineering Capstone students made presentations on April 18th and 20th at OSU, where a panel of practicing engineers helped Dr. Linda Weavers, Professor, CEGE, evaluate the group's proposals. The students were chosen for the City of Columbus presentation from a “consulting company merger” of the top two groups presenting at OSU.

The newly-formed team, Novice Hydrophilics Consultant Group, consisted of Raj Bhosale, Aubrey Neimeier, Amy West, Stephanie Brim and Randall Berkley.  A second group that consisted of Cody Chandler, Sid Hoover, Anton Rosi, and Supreya Kesavan, presented a separate proposal to representatives of the Del-Co Water Company in Delware County on Thursday, April 28th.
