Tenth Annual COUNT Conference a Success
The tenth annual COUNT Informational Meeting took place at The Ohio State University, Pfahl Executive Education Building on April 5 - 6, 2016. Formed by the faculty and researchers at four universities, including The Ohio State University, Ohio University, the Air Force Institute of Technology and Miami University, the Consortium of Ohio Universities on Navigation and Timekeeping (COUNT) shares their expertise for further training of undergraduate and graduate students as well as employees of the US-based navigation industry. The COUNT meeting featured presentations from government members and industrial affiliates as well as overview and poster sessions from the four participating universities. Dr. Robert C. Anderson, of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), served as one of the meeting's featured, governmental, speakers.
In addition to the annual meeting, the Consortium conducts annual workshops in order to deliver short courses that provide system-level training of navigation professionals, disseminate the latest research findings, and to offer early industry exposure to graduating students. The short courses and workshops are open to US-based industry personnel who are members (Industrial Affiliates) of the Consortium. Learn more about COUNT's mission HERE.
