University of Virginia Dean of Engineering presents T.H. Wu Distinguished Lecture

Craig H. Benson, Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Virginia as well as the Janet and John Hamilton Endowed Chair in Civil and Environmental Engineering presented the 2016 T.H. Wu Distinguished Lecture on Thursday, March 24, 2016.

The lecture, named for CEGE Professor Emeritus, T.H. Wu, features eminent scholars and practitioners in the field of Civil Engineering.  Dr. Benson discussed his past and current research and shared stories of his career as an engineering academic, researcher and consultant, including a chance encounter he had with Professor Wu while he (Benson) was a young assistant professor, just embarking on his career as a scholar.
