Dr. Allison MacKay, professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering, was a guest on WOSU's All Sides with Ann Fisher on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.

Professor MacKay joined host, Ann Fisher, Tom Henry, Environmental Reporter, Toledo Blade and Matt Steele, Water Treatment and Supply Coordinator, City of Columbus, in a discussion of the recent drinking water crisis in Flint, Michigan.

Dr. MacKay added keen insight on civil and environmental engineers' roles in building, maintaining and testing public water infrastructure as well as the environmental and social implications of public health crises such as the one currently taking place in Flint.
