HRH The Duke of Edinburgh presents award

[[{"attributes":{},"fields":{}}]]Dorota Grejner-Brzezinska, professor and chair of civil, environmental and geodetic engineering, was elected a 2014 Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN).  Grejner-Brzezinska was honored for her outstanding academic career devoted to positioning and navigation technologies, as well as her sustained contributions to the leadership of academic, learned and professional bodies.

Grejner-Brzezinska was presented the award by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on July 16th at the annual general meeting of the RIN held in London, England.

The Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN) is a learned society with charitable status. Formed in 1947, its aims have always been threefold:

  • To unite all those with a professional or personal interest in any aspect of navigation in one unique body;
  • to further the development of navigation in every sphere;
  • and to increase public awareness of the art and science of navigation.
