Asphalt pavement industry scholarship awards

Posted:

Just as we depend on asphalt pavements for a smoother ride, so do Ohio college students preparing for careers in civil engineering and construction management. For the 19th year, Flexible Pavements of Ohio Asphalt Pavement Industry Scholarships are helping smooth the journey for future industry professionals by providing monetary assistance toward reaching their academic goals.

Along with fostering the development of tomorrow’s industry professionals, this scholarship program is also encouraging the 10 Ohio institutions offering civil engineering or construction management degrees to advance the state of the industry by offering curriculum in asphalt pavement technology.

For the 2014-15 academic year, 19 recipients will receive $2,000 scholarships to make their drive to success a little smoother because of Flexible Pavements.   Eight Ohio State civil engineering students were selected to receive the Asphalt Pavement Industry Scholarship.
