Anderson Received Senior Brown Award

The 2012 senior recipient of the Duane C. Brown Award is Robert C. Anderson, Supervisory Project Scientist at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. Dr. Anderson was honored with the Brown award at a brief ceremony recognizing his achievements on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. During his visit to OSU he gave a department seminar on two research projects that he is involved with - Robust Error Estimation using Photogrammetry with High Image Redundancy (Video/ISR Settings) and Applying Index Theory to Gravity Gradiometer Inverse Problems. In addition, Rob met with several faculty, staff and students during his visit to OSU.

The Duane C. Brown Award was established in 1983 with gifts from Duane and Terry Brown. The award is to promote and recognize scientific activity in photogrammetry. This award is presented annually to recognize one senior and one junior researcher who has most successfully forwarded the cause of photogrammetry and strengthened the reputation of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering in the field of photogrammetry.
