Paint Creek Reservoir Visit

Students in CE 653, Principles of Rock Mechanics, visited the Paint Creek Reservoir Dam in Southern Ohio during an all-day field trip on Friday, April 27, 2012. 

CE 653 is taught spring quarter and cover engineering properties of rock and their measurement; in-situ stresses; analysis of rock slopes, tunnels, underground openings, and foundations.

CE 653 is a 3 cl, 1 1-hr lab, 1 1-day field trip. Prereq: 554. Not open to students with credit for MngEngr 653.
