Faculty Search for Assistant Professor in Infrastructure

THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY, Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of infrastructure engineering. Example research areas sought include: sustainable structures, smart structures and structural health monitoring using sensor networks, resilient infrastructure, hazard mitigation and improvement of structural performance under extreme loading conditions (such as earthquakes, blasts or hurricanes), rehabilitation of existing infrastructure, improvement of structural performance using advanced technologies or computational mechanics, or other areas of structural engineering. The potential to build collaborative research programs with other departments or units on campus, such as the Office of Energy and Environment, and the Center for Resilience is encouraged.
