Lt. Gen. Henry J. "Hank" Hatch delivers Wu Lecture

General Henry "Hank" Hatch discuss "Engineering a Sustainable Future" after the 11th Annual Wu Lecture on campus on April 21, 2010. General Hatch graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point in 1957 and received a MS degree in Geodetic Science from OSU in 1964. He currently chairs the Natural Sciences & Engineering Committee of the US National Commission for UNESCO; is a registered professional engineer in the District of Columbia, a Distinguished Member of ASCE, and a member of the National Academy of Engineering. The Annual Wu Lecture honors Prof. Wu for his significant contributions to the field of geotechnical engineering, in particular his work in probabilistic methods, risk and reliability analysis, and stability of natural and manmade slopes.
