Graduate Students Recognized Nationally

Jaehong Oh, a PhD student in the Department, received the Intergraph Scholarship at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, which was held in San Diego, CA on April 26-30, 2010. He was recognized for his research on developing new techniques for improving the stereo extraction accuracy from satellite pushbroom sensors. Jaehong was awarded a $2000 scholarship.

Leilei Li, a PhD student in the Department, is the recipient of the 2010 Institute of Navigation (ION) Graduate Student Award. Leilei was recognized for his research work on multi-sensor integration, sensor error modeling and collaborative navigation, and research paper that he presented at the ION International Technical Meeting in January, 2010. Leilei was awarded a $2000 scholarship.
