CURRICULUM

CEGE's Master of Structural Engineering (MSTRENG) curriculum presents an integrated approach to both technical and professional skills designed to develop leaders of industry.
Technical material will be presented by faculty from Ohio State's College of Engineering and by industry professionals. Professional skills will be provided in part by faculty in the College of Engineering, but largely by content experts in Ohio State's Fisher College of Business.

INTEGRATIVE, REAL-WORLD, STUDIO DESIGN PROJECT

- APPLY technical principles learned through courses.
- DEVELOP professional skills in project development, management, and assessment.
- Facilitated by professors of practice and professional engineeers.
- Project is optional for those students who have previously earned a professional engineering license in civil engineering.
In completing the integrated project, students will combine the Master of Structural Engineering program's professional core and technical tracks into a cohesive, educational experience.
UNIQUE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Master of Structural Engineering students will have access to a broad series of relevant, professional development electives which span the areas of management and finance.

Students can explore themes of finance, innovation and global awareness through course work in the College of Engineering's Master of Global Engineering Leadership (MGEL) Program. The MGEL option offers additional scheduling flexibility for working professionals through its online course delivery.

MSTRENG enrollees will cultivate leadership skills and explore accounting and business communications through course offerings in Ohio State's highly-regarded Fisher College of Business.
This engaging array of electives will enhance engineering professionals' project management and leadership skills as they pursue the next step in their career.
