James Olson has been a champion of protecting the public’s rights and interests for water and drinking water in the Great Lakes region and beyond for decades. His lawsuits opposing large corporate withdrawals/transfers of water out of the Great Lakes’ watershed were a catalyst for the "Great Lakes Compact".
Focus audience is students and professionals with interest in water resources law.
